Tree House Brewing Company brews a vast array of ales.  Our offerings vary based on the season, our moods, and innovations discovered in the midst of day in and day out brewing.  Our artisan brewery knows no bounds and we are driven by an intense curiosity of ingredients and how they blend together to create something special.

We are a draft only brewery and that allows us the freedom constantly rotate our offerings, and introduce new ones.  At our retail shop, we (almost) always pour four beers for growler fills to take home and enjoy.

We ask that you check our ON-TAP page prior to making a trip as we make every effort to keep it as current as possible so that you may know what to expect when you arrive.

DOUBLE SHOT (American Stout - 7.6% ABV) - These bottles represent the culmination of a coffee beer project nearly two years in the making. Double Shot, our beloved coffee stout, has been refined time and time again to achieve a beer that is both as robust in its base as it is a worthy purveyor of its respective coffee. We experience flavors and aromas of dark chocolate, caramel, milk chocolate covered espresso beans, and a hint of citrus-like acidity. The mouthfeel is luxurious with a soft and velvety carbonation. It is, in our opinion, the result of what is possible with the careful selection of ingredients paired with attentive brewing execution. We invite you to enjoy this bottle fresh and in your most beloved company!

GOOD MORNING - (Imperial Coffee Stout - 8.4%)  - Brewed with Maxwell Road Maple’s darkest and most flavorful late season maple syrup, Good Morning pours pitch black in the glass with a creamy mousse-like head.  The bubbles give way to genuinely intoxicating aromas of freshly roasted coffee, rich maple syrup, and milk chocolate. The flavor is decadent, melding milk chocolate, sweet maple syrup, and freshly roasted coffee with deeper complexities as it warms.  The crew here at Tree House tastes “chocolate covered maple candy”, “vanilla”, “chocolate cake”, “brown sugar”, “a dark fruit bonanza”, and “fresh roasted coffee”. A super decadent treat, Good Morning begs to be shared and contemplated. We dare you to smell it and not yearn for Sunday morning. . . !

The bold flavor evolves beautifully in the glass buoyed by a lush mouthfeel - we taste fudgy chocolate, cocoa powder and robust roasted malts balanced properly by an assortment of sweet dark fruits. JUICE MACHINE (Double IPA - 8.2% ABV) -Juice Machine was originally devised and brewed to support our very first trip to Extreme Beer Festival in 2014.  We’ve revived and tweaked the original recipe on a 30 BBL scale and brought new life and experience into the idea of an obscenely hop saturated yet juicy and delicate Double IPA.  It is essentially a marriage of the King Julius malt bill with a hopping intensity schedule similar to that of Very Green.  The use of Magnum, Columbus, Amarillo, Citra, and Galaxy creates perhaps our most complex drink with unapologetic flavors of tangerine, mango, lime, papaya, and grapefruit with waves of dankness.  Hop burp nirvana, indeed.

KING JULIUS (Double IPA - 8.2% ABV) - King Julius is an American Double IPA brewed to be an exceptionally flavorful, juicy, and hop saturated beer without rough edges or abrasiveness. Its vivid citrus aromas give way to flavors of orange creamsicle, mango smoothie, and a bounty of fresh tropical fruit. We find it to be refined and delicate amid an onslaught of flavor. Originally brewed in 2012, King Julius is our endeavor to marry our past with what we aspire to be in the future.

NATIVE ONE (Mixed Fermentation Ale - 6.3% ABV) - Native One is the introduction to a focused series of wild and mixed fermentation beers from Tree House.  Primary fermented with yeasts of Belgian origin, Native One was then aged for 6 months in french oak with a blend of Brettanomyces, lactic acid bacteria, and our native microflora. Complex, vibrant, and refreshingly tart, Native One is unfiltered and naturally carbonated.

NATIVE TWO (Grisette 4.5% ABV) - Native Two is the second in a focused series of wild and mixed fermentation beers from Tree House. Brewed with spelt, malted wheat, and oats, Native Two then rested for 4 months in stainless with a blend of Brettanomyces, lactic acid bacteria, and our native microflora. NATIVE THREE (Mixed Fermentation Ale - 6.5% ABV)  - Native Three  is the third in a focused series of wild and mixed fermentation beers from Tree House. Brewed with 2-row and oats, Native Three then rested for 8 months in stainless with our original blend of Brettanomyces, lactic acid bacteria, and our native microflora. Dry, lemony tart, and beautifully refreshing, Native Three is the base from which we will grow and develop our barrel program in the coming years.

NATIVE FOUR (Mixed Fermentation Ale - 6.0% ABV)  - Brewed in October 2015, Native Four is a spelt country beer.  Primary fermented with yeasts of Belgian origin, Native Four rested for eight months in oak with our house culture of native microflora, Brettanomyces, and lactic acid bacteria.  We naturally conditioned this beer for an additional four months in the bottle to produce a characterful yet controlled and refreshing tartness accompanied by a soft acidity.  All our brettanomyces country beers are lively and effervescent.  Please chill, open cold, and enjoy them as they warm in the glass.

NATIVE FIVE (Mixed Fermentation Ale - 6.0% ABV)  - Native Five is our honey country beer.  Brewed with raw unpasteurized woodland honey from wild bees in Zambia, Native Five was fermented with our distinctive local yeast, and then aged for several months in oak. It contains notes of honey suckle, spicy Brettanomyces character, dried fruits, and molasses. An ethereal mouthfeel with pillowy carbonation leads to a dainty, dry finish with delicate lemon acidity. Our Native series beers are naturally conditioned in the bottle, and contain a lively effervescence. Please chill the bottle, open cold, and enjoy as they warm in the glass.

SINGLE SHOT (Coffee Milk Stout - 6.4% ABV) - We are extremely excited to offer Single Shot  this evening - a beautifully balanced coffee stout made with a special blend of our favorite coffees! It pours super dark in the glass unleashing a fluffy, mocha-like head.  We experience flavors and aromas of rich chocolate, cold brewed coffee, and coffee ice cream. Single Shot is exceptionally creamy on the palate while maintaining a lightness that leaves you wanting more… a true treat in the can paired with the embrace of early season cold air!

SINGLE SHOT w/ Vanilla Bean (Milk Stout - 6.4 % ABV) - We are excited to present a delicious variant of our coffee milk stout just in time for Thanksgiving... SINGLE SHOT w/ Vanilla Bean! This modification builds upon the original by conditioning the finished beer on Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Beans. We also varied the typical coffee blend by infusing a single beautiful coffee, Finca El Injerto Bourbon.  What resulted is a beer that exhibits a subtle and well integrated vanilla note with rich coffee character while retaining a wonderful airiness and drinkability. The crew here tastes bourbon chocolate, maple brown sugar, and vanilla with a soft coffee acidity on the finish. The vanilla reveals nuanced character as it warms, though never overwhelming the senses, with the coffee notes slowly mellowing.  This is a real treat to us, and a beer we are once again excited to share with you!

TORNADO (American Pale Ale - 5.6% ABV) - Our modern take on an American Pale Ale features four hop varieties balanced by a crisp malt bill of pale and caramel malts. The beer is complexly aromatic, supremely hoppy, dry, and thirst-quenching.  Soft notes of citrus, papaya, and grapefruit dance on the tongue before a delicate citric bitterness finishes things off.  A refined Tree House classic!  Read the original story here.

TRAILBREAKER (Unfiltered Kellerbier - 5.4% ABV) - We are excited for the return of our proper unfiltered German Style Lager! Trailbreaker pours a beautiful golden amber in the glass and emanates fresh malty and floral aromas. The flavor is super refreshing, with soft bitterness and a complex and robust malt character with hints of lager yeast. Classic, simple, and elegantly executed, this one hits the spot in any circumstance!

TRAIL MAGIC (German-style Pilsner - 5.2% ABV) - Another foray into crispy refreshing lagers! Trail Magic pours a brilliant yellow in the glass with a puffy white head.  Noble hops mingle with a clean cracker-like malt base resulting in a most refreshing beverage.  A bit of spice with a soft but dry finish provide balance, making Trail Magic hard to put down... Clean and crispy, just the way we like them! A beer that takes the edge off of these hot summer days.

VERY GREEN (Double IPA - 8.3% ABV) -  This classic Tree House Double IPA is created with a massive kettle and dry hop punch of Australian and American hops.  It opens in the glass with huge notes of ripe pineapple, pithy citrus, and dank saturated hops. As it warms it shows its depth and complexity. . . Sweet bits of malt intermingle with straight Tropicana. It has a soft but pointed bitterness and a rich, velvety mouth feel. She drinks much like Green, but with more of everything to love - including a greater potential to get carried away.  Proceed with caution!

VERY HAZY (Double IPA - 8.6% ABV) -  If Haze had an evil older brother… Very Hazy conveys all the beautiful flavors of Haze, but with even greater depth, potency, and hop intensity. In short, it contains the most liberal application of hops in our short history. A pungent citrus juice aroma primes the senses for the intense flavor to follow.  We taste pulpy orange, peach, and a melange of tropical fruit.  Just the right amount of bitterness graces the palate while a sensual mouthfeel make you easily (and dangerously!) forget this one clocks in at 8.6%

AND MANY, MANY MORE!  We are constantly brewing new beers, and your best bet is to stay tuned to our ON-TAP page!

Freshness

The decision to be a draft only, retail only starting out was not an easy one.  We understand the convenience of finding our product in your local craft beer store, but we feel that convenience comes at a price.  The minute our beer leaves our loving hands it is subjected to forces that seek to destroy it.  Temperature fluctuations, ultraviolet light, mistreatment, etc.  These forces are especially destructive to the pale hoppy beers we love so much.  As we  increase our capacity we anticipate bottling limited releases and less volatile beers.   Until then, the beer we are sending into your C02 purged growler will always be less than three weeks removed from our fermenters.

Quality

Our attention to detail with each batch borders on fanatical, as does our care and attention to each ingredient that finds it's way into our mash tun.  Our grain is malted in America and kept in temperature and humidity controlled storage until use.  We also only find, purchase, and utilize hops flavor and aroma hops from the most recent harvest, ensuring fresh, bright hop flavors and aromas.

If you find Tree House on tap and note that a draft line is less than ideal, please contact us immediately.  Clean lines and glassware are of the utmost importance to us.

Consistency

Our recipes have been tweaked again and again and again and again.  When you find a Tree House product you love, we aim  obsessively to recreate it batch after batch.  If you notice a beer has fluctuated a bit with the sands of time, please send us an e-mail and let us know what you're experiencing.  Your enjoyment is extremely important to us, and we hate inconsistency as much as you do.

Ongoing innovations in brewing science continually allow us to refine our techniques to produce ales that are more fresh, and, with no other way to put it - better with each subsequent batch.  Iteration is the key to refinement and excellence and we strive to make our product 'better' every time.
