Dirty Water

This is a very exciting post for us to make.

In the summer of 2011, we were perfecting our recipe for an All-American, sessionable Blonde Ale. It’s a straightforward beer, and uses just a few American hop varieties.

At the end of a perfect brew day we forgot to add Whirfloc Tablets, a clarifying agent. Damn. Immediately, one of us - legend has forgotten exactly who - remarked… “Dirty Water”. And so it was born.

Tree House Brewing Company - Dirty Water

The artwork was conceived on a late night at an artist’s studio while drinking a whole lot of Arrogant Bastard. A wild, somewhat disturbing creature in the middle of a post-apocalyptic forest finding liquid gold and flashing a mischievous grin. Delicious Dirty Water.

A very special thanks goes out to Roc Goudreau for imagining our vision on this one.

We are as excited to share this with you as we are the beer! Enjoy.
